CorleyOak Stud
SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL !!
Fight for Hope!
Youngstock

CorleyOak Easter Bobbie Dazzler (Bob)

Palomino colt

Sire: Champlers Fairy Sovereign
Dam: Braywood Vanilla

This is Bob (aged 9 months) in the snow - none too impressed with the white stuff!  Think he's worried about where his next blade of grass is coming from!

CorleyOak Touch Wood (Hope)

Strawberry roan/chestnut roan filly

Sire: Champlers Fairy Sovereign
Dam: Quaker's Comfrey

Hope will always be special to us as we had a two-week battle to save her life.  (See "Fight for Hope" on the left hand side of the page).  She is strong and sturdy now and totally gorgeous!

Kerswell Legacy (Ted)

Dilute brown roan/buckskin roan colt

Sire: Kerswell Russet
Dam: Kerswell Lovage

Ted is a super dilute brown roan colt, purchased from the Kerswell Stud as a companion for Bob and to run on as a stallion, hopefully.  Ted has settled down straight away and he and Bob are firm friends, going everywhere together.

It looks as though Ted's coat will go through several colour changes as he grows!

Pinglewood Isla (Isla)

Bay skewbald/bay tobiano filly

Sire: Pinglewood Dominic
Dam: Laurel's Paintbox

Isla is a gorgeous bay tobiano filly foal with lots of bone and substance.   She has a look-at-me attitude and is very friendly and curious to the point of plain nosey!  This is Isla playing in our garden with her best friends Ted and Bob.  She is trying to decide if she's brave enough to cross the bridge over the pond onto our patio.......

(better picture to follow)

Eiger Kizzy (Kizzy)

Brown filly

Sire: Kerswell Minnow
Dam: Parlingto
n Jodie

This photo does not do Kizzy justice.  This was her first day out with her new fieldmates, so she was a little uncertain of things.  She settled down very quickly and has a much happier expression on her face now - except when we try to get a good photo!

Bowerdon Dandelion (Dandie)

Chestnut dun filly

Sire: Firth Golden Shred
Dam: Mardlebrook Honeybun

Dandie was purchased from Bridgwater sales in October 2009.  She has settled down very quickly and is very sweet and loving, with a cute, fluffy face.  She was a little underweight when we bought her, but is making up for lost time having just been moved to fresh grazing!
